Goodbye sarcastic depressed Molly.
College! It's definitely the place to be.
So far, it's way awesome. I like being a year older and "wiser" and being responsible. :)
This year is a rockstar year, I've met quite a few guitarists who live in my ward and I'm confident we'll have jam parties. I've gotten SO much better than I was a year ago. Heck, even just four months ago.
Man, does time fly. Sometimes I wish it would go a little faster...but life goes fast enough. I try enjoy it as much as I can. Simple pleasures and what not~
This summer has been the hardest, most boring, lonely, and rewarding summer yet. I've made some huge changes in my life, my personality, and my priorities. I have some pretty incredible and exciting goals to look forward to and an insane journey to get there. Come what may!
This year I'm going to be super involved. So far I'm loving it. It really helps for me to have roommates who like to do things together and are super friendly. They really bring out a more fun side of me and I just love it. I've met a ton of people and I bet I'll make some pretty good friends out of this. Today we decided to start a book club! The first book is Walden by Henry David Thoreau. I picked it. :) I'm trying to find people who are interested and who will appreciate discussing books and ideas. It's been a long time since I've done recreational reading and I really miss it.
My classes are good so far. I figure I better invest in t-shirts this year...I'm going to get so dirty. My painting class should be fun. We start painting tomorrow and I think I finally got all the supplies I need. They were expensive...but I didn't have to buy books this year. Oh wait, I didn't UNTIL I went to my computers and arts class. I now have to get 3 books online by next week. Psh. Not super happy about that...especially since they're like 30 bucks used. Oh well... I just love learning. So I'll try to get the most out of them :)
My acting class will be awesome. I can feel it. The teacher reminds me of Ms Darbis on HSM and it's fantastic. I decided that I'm going to really try in that class. To volunteer for things and make mistakes and learn, but mostly to have no regrets and learn from my experiences.
Hello Miss positive, exuberant, expressive, irrepressible Molly~

Wow! What an exciting post! I love when people have good attitudes towards life. You win, Molly. :) Sounds like you're going to have a good year. :)
So happy for you, Molly! We've got to come visit you -- or if you want to come visit us for a weekend -- you are always welcome! Now that I've discovered your blog, I'll be watching. Have a great year at school -- it looks like you're gonna make it one! Love you! Aunt Corenna
