Okay, more band updates:

Kaylee Cole - First heard her at a small venue called WhySound. She is phenomenal. Not only is she a fantastic piano player (maybe I'm only in awe because I can't play) but it just sucks you in. My favorite song is Uncertain World. No battle. The lilt of the melody just got to me and I couldn't help but start swaying to the beat and hang on every word she sang. The stories she tells are so mesmerizing. And I honestly can't deny that her voice is like melted butter. This girl's got soul and somethin' to say. So you should listen.

Kevin Hammond - This man puts the legit in legitimate. Seriously, this kid had got vocal MOVES. The first time I heard his falsetto, it was magic to my ears. And it still is... Coming from someone who gets bored with music quite easily, that is an astounding compliment. Not only does he have bad mother vocal tricks, he has some great guitar skills and intriguing back beats. Lyrics, priceless.
So many treasures to be unearthed with this crazy cat.

Maybe - INSANE, automatic switches between full voice and playful falsetto.
The Way That You Move - The melody starts and it's almost familiar. Sweet pre-chorus switch up with the guitar. Sappy love song... ;)
Broken Down - awesome vocal runs on this sucker.

Ke$ha....yes, I am putting her on this list. BEFORE you judge (I know it's too late for some of you) but this song actually caught me by surprise. It's SO different from all of her other stuff which is typically all about how to get drunk and material, party stuff.
I guess everyone has something serious and real to say when you get down to the nitty gritty.
There's some pretty intense lyrics in this gem.
"Drunk off of nothing but each other till the sunrise
They say that true love hurts well this could almost kill me
Young love murdered, that is what this must be..."

I have to applaud her lyrics on this one. I know exactly the feeling she's describing. Well captured Kesha, well captured...

The Best Week Ever - I really love these guys lately. It might be just a fad, but it's nice and upbeat and happy. I like the blend of voices they use. Wanna feel good? You're unforgettable...

Top Unsigned Bands of 2010!

Last year this list treated me very well. Not only did I discover my current favorite band, it also led to them becoming signed a few months ago! :)

Hopefully this list will bring you good luck.

Okay so I've got a couple of things to share...

This is one of them. It's hilarious :) If I could, I would find a bunch of guys and we would learn this dance. Easy.

Nextly, I went to a concert a couple weekends ago and I heard this really awesome band from Las Vegas. Their name is Imagine Dragons. They put on a a really great live show, lots of energy and catchy music.

I'm giving this blog a new feeling. I'm going to be talking about what I spend a majority of my life doing: music.
New band I've been exploring: Valencia.
